The exhibited ceramic tea ware is a collaboration between designers and ceramic artist via a dialogue and study how technology and hand craftsmanship can co create and co-exist for a new making solution/approach.
Using 3D printing technology to create tooling preparation pieces for clay moulds making, the method allows the new process be more consistent, smooth and accurate.
The collaboration with ceramic artist, Joe Chan brought design thinking and hand process together. The communication between designer and ceramic artist was closer and more interactive.
